I feel a whole chunk of my early (ish) gay years have been taken. My weekends were defined by Sunday School; getting there on time to get "our spot" (to the left of the Muppet gallery) where we used to install my friend's Mother who one week did win Mother of the week - much to her delight. I was part of the winning team (The Battersea Babes - Heaven help us) of the Treasure Hunt Peter organised in 1989 (still have the cup) fiendishly difficult clues which we gave up on right at the beginning - until we made a bit more effort after being chastised by Peter. His act was uproarious, irreverent and irresistible. Then He Kissed Her rather stays in the memory with blood, vampire references and other unmentionable items coming out of the steaming chalice. I feel privileged that I had those years; the people drawn to Sunday afternoons became a community which gave us all strength and some of the people I met then are friends still. Thank you Peter. Thank you so much. Tom Hough
